America: Is The Chasm So Large That The Country Is Fading Into Oblivion?

"We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within…."

- Nikita Krushchev

Krushchev, the ex-Soviet leader, made this statement in November 1956. It appears that he was prophetic, and we see today that America is in dire straits.

There is no longer a "United" States. There are really two Americas, and the division has never been starker, except perhaps during the Civil War in the 1800s. The chasm is not just a physical one, but a cultural and socio-economic one. While there are exceptions to the rule, the divisions are quite distinct.

On the one hand, you have what is often called Fly-Over Country or Middle America. On the other side, you have the Coastal Elites. Though you have some of these in the middle of the country, generally the descriptions hold.

Fly-Over country represents the hardworking working middle classes, the industrial belt, farmers and those who have a greater belief in traditions such as the U.S. Constitution, Church and traditional families.

The Coastal Elitists represent the wealthy, Silicon Valley, anti-Constitutionalists and what can be called Post-Modernists. They want to turn traditional values such as race, gender and family on its head. They reject the nuclear family, are Marxist in their thinking and reject science when it suits them. Many actually reject the tenets of America's founding.

Recently the storming of The Capital building has brought the situation to a crisis. There is a law in physics called Newton's Third Law Of Motion. It states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The initial event was the summer of 2020 riots in multiple U.S. cities. It took the form of looting businesses, burning buildings including federal courts, attacking police and their vehicles, and the defacing of statues. Unbelievably, this was encouraged by many left-wing politicians, and the media was complicit in covering up most of the turmoil.

So there was bound to be a reaction; the assault on the Capital building. None of the violence is to be condoned. However, it appears that the Coastal Elitists have decided which is the most egregious. They have blamed Trump–as is true to form–and the Big Tech companies have colluded by removing him off social platforms. This is potentially a security risk in the event of a national emergency. To make matters worse, they are openly targeting his administration's supporters.

Sensing their power, on the same day, the Tech companies banished the up-and-coming site, Parler. They shut it down and in effect, may have terminated this popular site which was number one on the Apple Store.

The disconnect between the two Americas is destined to be exacerbated. While President Trump has been banned off both Twitter and Facebook, radical extremists remain. Twitter tolerates Ayatollah Khamenei's call to "eliminate Israel".

Louis Farrakhan, head of Nation of Islam, calls Jews, "termites" on Twitter. Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin has retweeted the image of her holding a decapitated head of Donald Trump.

ABC News Director, Rick Klein, recently wrote, "Getting rid of Trump is the easy part. Cleansing the movement he commands…is going to be something else." Cleansing? Doesn't this remind us of one of Hitler's goals of cleansing Jews?

The Coastal Elites hold all the power, and their goal is to eliminate free thought unless you think the way they do. In Donald Trump, those in Fly-Over country had a voice. That voice is swiftly disappearing.

The power of Silicon Valley is staggering. The top five companies' total capital worth (Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon) exceeds 3 trillion dollars, more extensive than most countries globally. They are all on one side of the political spectrum.

In 1984, Big Brother represented power in a totalitarian state where even what you thought was controlled. We are now seeing this play out in America. If you are in Middle America and share a viewpoint at odds with Silicon Valley, your voice is now being suppressed.

Charlie Kirk of Turning Point America put it so well: "In the Soviet Union, the government owned the media. In today's America, the media owns the government".

Make no mistake about it. The division is between an extreme leftist, Marxist, view of America and those who believe in the Bill of Rights and free speech. If the Tech Oligarchs succeed, the American experiment is gone. Right now, the country is in a civil war and teetering on self-destruction.
