America has entered dangerous territory where there is a full-on assault on free speech. It's particularly disconcerting because the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution has enshrined free speech as a fundamental human right. That right is quickly eroding. The loss of free speech has infiltrated every echelon of society, including the health care community.
Doctors speaking out on an effective early treatment for Covid-19
Health care practitioners such as medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists or dentists, have a certain degree of expertise when it comes to health . When you have a group of doctors, such as those in the video above, explaining their experience of treating Covid-19 patients with hydroxychloroquine, people need to take notice. On the contrary, today, Big Pharma along with government bureaucracy and Big Tech is vicious, and any contrarian message is stifled. All the Big Tech boys; Youtube, Facebook and Twitter, have deleted the video. Most notable in my postings on Facebook, the following message came up with the scrubbing of the video: "Your post goes against our Community Standards on misinformation that could cause physical harm."
What we have going on today is Big Tech thuggery. Does Mark Zuckerberg have the audacity to determine what is valid medically? Where did Zuckerberg get his medical degree? If he didn't, then he is defaming doctors who are presenting their clinical experience along with the research behind their treatments. In other words, Mr Zuckerberg, you are practising medicine without a license. To make matters worse, Dr Simone Gold, who spearheaded the coalition, lost her position as a Board Certified Emergency Physician.
What has transpired should send chills down our spines. Initially, the purpose of social media was to allow for the free exchange of ideas. That is no longer true. Google, for example, is now the largest company in the world. It not only dictates whether something will get published according to its "wokeness", but it is so powerful that through its algorithms it is influencing elections.
Dr Robert Epstein, a senior research psychologist, did some research on Google's search engine during the 2016 election and he found significant bias tilted toward Hillary Clinton. This time he contends, Google will try and tip the scales even more toward Joe Biden. Incidentally, Dr Epstein voted for Clinton.
Currently, free speech is under attack in America. Some people are assaulted if they support the wrong candidate in an election or if they happen to hold a different viewpoint. It is starting to resemble the situation taking place in totalitarian states as opposed to what we would expect in a free society. Bias by Big Tech today is playing a huge role, and it is dangerous. If you think you live in a free country, you may want to think again. This is not only a problem in America but it affects all free nations because we are all linked by the internet. Big Tech's reach today extends to every corner of the world.
